The AEAWA is now offering membership to all Paramedics, Medics, Site Medics and Emergency Service Officers working industrial contracts throughout Western Australia.

 As a member of the Association, you will have access to many benefits including; Professional Indemnity Insurance, Journey Cover, ShopRite; and access to support through [email protected]

How much does it cost to be an AEAWA member?

The AEAWA fees total $20 per fortnight, totaling $520 per year.

How do I pay my AEAWA membership Fees?

You can set up your payments through your bank with numerous options. Which ever option you choose, please place your name and employee number on your payments. You can either pay the annual fee of $520 for the year, or $20 per fortnight.

Are my AEAWA fees tax deductible?

Yes, as you will pay your fortnightly Association fees through BPay or Funds Transfer, the AEAWA will email you annual tax statement to your registered email.

What do my fortnightly fees give me as a member?

Your fortnightly fees will pay your
– Professional Indemnity Insurance,
– Travel Insurance
– ShopRite access
– Organisational support

If you are a Registered Paramedic through AHPRA, the AEAWA can certify that you have Professional Indemnity Insurance, a requirement you need when you re-register each year.

How is the AEAWA able to pay all these benefits for such a low membership cost?

As the AEAWA are the fastest growing Association for ambulance employees, the benefit of having thousands of members, is that we can by insurances packages and benefits in ‘bulk’, so those savings are automatically provided to the membership.

How do I join the AEAWA?

What happens if i miss an AEAWA membership fee payment?

The AEAWA will email all members each fortnight if a membership payment has not been paid, if the AEAWA does not receive multiple fortnightly payments the AEAWA will cancel your membership. This will mean all benefits and insurances will be also cancelled.
