Triple Time Approved for Full Time Night Tonight
In light of the recent authorised unprecedented ‘Triple Time’ activation and managements unforeseen discrimination with only one shift available to resource these shift vacancies, we would encourage those of you who choose to come to work tonight to access the REPORT portal on www.aeawa.com.au website and notify of any irregularities with crew formation.
As much as we applaud St John Operations Management assisting in our continual understaffing, there needs to be criteria and consistency with this activation. The AEA will once again request those officers who choose to work their rostered shift be paid at 200% of their hourly rate.
We would also like to acknowledge that this 300% shift allowances will advance our careers in negotiations at the next Certified Agreement for a significant quantum increases.
